Amoral is a band from Finland. They began in the late 90′s. Their music is very melodic. I hadn’t expected that when I began the CD. They still hold their own in the metal scene, but that put melody and beauty into their music. This does not take away from their rough edges. Their songs are far from simple. This movie is an acquired taste and only certain people will have the stomach for it. I found it hard to watch myself, but it didn’t suck. The premise: A poetic hired gun. An old western setting. A brothel owner that needs to die. This movie is not for the squeamish. It contains sex, murder and abortion.
This flick is set in 1985. It begins with a puppet hunter who stumbles upon a penguin who in turn beats the stuffing out of him (pun intended). Someone stands in the shadows, and with the penguin this shadowy figure drags the hunter back to a lab.
