Penelope Houston, On Market Street – CD Review

Published on 6 August 2012 by in Album Reviews

The first thing that stood out to me about this CD jumped out before I even got it into my player! The packaging is made from recyclable materials. The CD was held onto its clever case by a piece of cork too! I love it. All CD’s should come in this type of packaging. It’s magnificent! Down with plastic! Now to the actual music. This is Houston’s 7th studio

Gamebox 1.0 – Review

This is an interesting pick and a good way to kick off the holiday season, the movie is called Gamebox 1.0. A low budget independent film that shines because of the talent and ambition of the directors and actually won awards for Best Screenplay and Visual Effects. I’ve actually owned the DVD for a few years now and just recently popped this bad boy in and was pleasantly surprised.

Seed – Review

Shot in 2007 and not released until 2008, Seed is one of the greatest (if not under appreciated horror films) of all time. But this film is far from anything you’ve ever seen and guarantee nothing quite like this will

Rampage – Review

Uwe Boll has been called “the worst director of all time” and an online petition was started to get Uwe to stop making movies. Some say terrible, I say genius, but first let me give you some background info. Uwe Boll is a German born director who first came to America with his daring and controversial film Heart Of America (2002), after that is when things went down hill.

The Fantastic 4 (1994) – Retro Showcase

Obscurity is a strange beast, not only does it intrigue the masses but also creates an underground “club” if you will of those that thrive on the strange and unknown. I should know since I am a huge fan of underground cinema and the independent. So obscure that the movie actually does not exist, I am referring to the 1994 version of The Fantastic 4 produced by Roger Corman.
